Correcting Data Without Re-opening a CAPA Phase

Data can be corrected in a record without opening a phase. A user must have the appropriate rights to be able to re-open the CAPA record. Currently, only the CAPA Title and Description can be updated, but the administrator can configure what types of data can be updated in the phases after they have been signed off. The user can access the workspace options and CAPAs from the CAPA Coordinator dashboard or from the My Tasks dashboard.

  1. From the CAPA record, click Other Actions > Data Correction.
  2. Correct the data.
  3. Enter justification for the data correction.
  1. Click the Sign-off button.
    Result: The Sign-off window is displayed.
  2. Enter your user ID and password then click the Sign-off button.
    Result: The updates have been made to the fields. The user’s signature and comments can be viewed in the Activity section of the CAPA record.
